Come and discover The Mab Trail, Pontypridd’s very own art and storytelling trail based on The Mab, a retelling of Wales’ ancient stories for today’s young readers, written by 11 of Wales’ finest children’s authors.
Story-finders will be able to seek-out the stories of The Mab scattered throughout the landscape of Pontypridd by following the trail to find story stones and storyboards depicting the 11 tales of the Mabinogi. You can take rubbings of the stones to make your own story books and even create some new myths and legends of your own!
P.G.Bell, author of Geraint, Enid and The Big Knight Fight in The Mab will lead a mini-tour of The Mab Trail, starting in Pontypridd Museum and then on to Ynysangharad Park, where you’ll discover the stories of the women of The Mab
All ages welcome, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Everyone attending, both child and adult will need to book a ticket.
* In the event of poor weather conditions, this will be moved to a guided talk at Pontypridd Museum.
